Every Penny Counts
We don’t get paid to do this job – we do it because we choose to.
But we can’t do it without the tools and equipment needed to save lives (and to protect our own lives whilst out on a rescue). That’s why we’re fully committed to fundraising all year round. It’s also why we appreciate every single penny donated to us.
Donating / Giving
You can donate in the following ways:
- Just Giving is widely recognised as the UK’s leading Charity website – www.justgiving.com.
- Direct Money Transfer or Standing Order – contact the Treasurer and they will supply our bank details for you to set this up.
- By Cheque or Postal Order – Please contact the Treasurer and they will supply the details necessary for you to send it to us.
GIFT AID
If you are a tax payer, Gift Aid enables the Team to reclaim the tax on every pound donated from the Inland Revenue at no cost to you, the giver. Please consider Gift Aiding your donation to further increase its benefit to us. If you would like to enhance your donation in this way, please contact the Treasurer for further details.
Here’s an idea..
Why don’t you use fundraising as an excuse to do something you’ve always wanted to do. Sky Diving, Bungee Jumping, Climbing Ben Nevis, Hosting a music gig – the wackier the idea, the better. All you need to do is set up a just giving sponsors page here (hyperlinked), and get your friends to sponsor you to do something that’s on your bucket list!! It’s a win win situation!
Legacies and Requests
We are sure you will appreciate that we cannot provide our services without the generosity of our supporters who matter a great deal to us and make a crucial difference. One way they make a difference is through a gift in their Will. If and when the time is right for you, after you have provided for your family and friends; it would help us if you could consider leaving us a gift in your Will. Always take legal advice before making or altering your will. Supporters who leave us a gift really make a difference!
